Em um evento na Assembleia Legislativa do Rio Grande do Norte, Bolsonaro expressou seu apoio \u00e0 imprensa, afirmando: &#8220;Estamos juntos com a imprensa. Sempre estive com a imprensa, e a imprensa agora vai estar comigo.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Durante seu mandato como chefe do Executivo federal, Bolsonaro enfrentou cr\u00edticas intensas de diversos grupos de comunica\u00e7\u00e3o. No entanto, ele nunca se posicionou contra a imprensa. Apesar de conflitos com certos grupos de jornalistas e empresas, como o Grupo Globo, Bolsonaro n\u00e3o implementou nenhuma medida contra a imprensa. Seu mandato foi marcado por a\u00e7\u00f5es que buscaram garantir as liberdades no pa\u00eds, incluindo liberdades individuais, de imprensa, de opini\u00e3o e de livre atua\u00e7\u00e3o da internet.<\/p>\n<p>Bolsonaro tamb\u00e9m criticou a decis\u00e3o do STF, dizendo: &#8220;Ontem [quarta], uma decis\u00e3o de outro Poder, que n\u00e3o \u00e9 o Legislativo, determinou que, se qualquer pessoa der uma entrevista e o jornal a publicar, e houver fake news ali, a imprensa ser\u00e1 processada. Quem decidir\u00e1 se \u00e9 fake news ou n\u00e3o? Ningu\u00e9m sabe, talvez algu\u00e9m indicado por uma pessoa no poder. Esta pessoa sempre defendeu o controle social da m\u00eddia, sempre pregou a censura.
